Fishbowl Intentions

It doesn't hurt to repeat oneself. With that in mind, I'm going to restate my intentions for this project. I'll make it plain and simple.

The 2 books I list as my inspiration are both spiritual in nature, though stem from separate religious traditions. They are Siddhartha by Herman Hesse and The Way of A Pilgrim by an anonymous Russian Orthodox Christian in the 19th Century.

Both books explore the idea of one devoting himself to constant meditation/prayer. I've always been interested in the idea of living without money. I have something to prove to myself, yes, but I want to show the world, too, along the way.

It's not my desire to prove Art as a religion. I have no interest in defining or re-defining either one, but artists are what I know and they are the kind of people that understand me.

Devotion is the area of my focus.
