Art blahblah Art blah blah, community... take me away art.

The feeling of people meeting and connecting for the first time, possibly relationships that will last, across distances. We keep in touch. We share info. We invite eachother and host eachother and art is a social science or sister of it in any case. Travel is imminent and the game is about viewing, an audience gained–a network.

Those that can get to know what you will do, in art, expect comparisons in your work when they see it in a gallery or venue later. We watch the developments and bounce back with eachother, what I call reverb and feedback. We reflect back for eachother.

In regards to genre we've all become coagulated compared to times past and the gain received from each viewing of another's work will ruin us, break us and at least break down borders we'd had in our mind as we see people creating from what they have or know or feel. Lots of art is only what we want to be. As with what they say about dreams, art is what we're striving toward in this world. It's what we want, that's why we make it and share it so our vision can actually be something in this world too, amongst us.

Social media, my medium, travels without me and through those that know me. It's the same, it's broader, it's shallower but it's the same. Standing beside something gazing is one thing, gazing while you're nowhere is another thing. We get lost or we want to and that's where art takes us, namely, somewhere else wether in a gallery in another space, bedroom, basement or the forrest or a cliff wall. Artists take us somewhere other than where we are.
