ArtistFishbowl is NOT Art

This is business. Art, yes, but in the end it's business, it's trade.

I aspire to accomplish something easily misunderstood; my deepest goal in life is to understand how you and I can give to each other and agree that our gifts are of equal value. With ArtistFishbowl I offer you promotion & publicity and you offer me room & board.

I would do your laundry. I'd make your windows clean, but it seems you need PR. My calling is propaganda. I want to do that for your business–as an artist. I want you to host an art event.

I believe that what I'm doing here, right now, is the best thing I can do in this world. I believe that blogging and facebooking and sharing links is the greatest gift I've got to give. I'm part artist, part therapist, part philosopher and part reporter, but if you let me do my thing, I can help your business.

I was asked recently, how is ArtistFishbowl art? Tonight, I've finally realized, it's not art. I'm an artist, I'm making art, but the project ArtistFishbowl, itself, is not art, it's PR.
